THE SECRET DOMES
It’s with mixed emotions we announce the closing of the Secret Domes. Over the last 3 years, we have welcomed visitors from all over the world to our Secret Domes. We have had the joy of being a part of so many beautiful moments in this time, proposals, weddings, parties and everything in between. What a party it’s been!
This was a decision made by Edinburgh City Council and we have not been granted the renewal of our planning permission for the Secret Domes. We cannot stress enough how much this decision is out of our hands. We are devastated. There are no words that can fully express how truly heartbroken we are to lose such an integral part of Cask and the city centre of Edinburgh. Thank you all for being part of our amazing 3 year Domes journey, it has been one to remember.
The final day for the Secret Domes will be October 22nd, with the breakdown commencing the very next day. We have contacted everyone who is booked with us after the 22nd of October directly by email. If you think we have missed you, please get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org
This is not the end for Cask, or the Secret Domes. Cask Bar bookings can be made on our website, you will find the link bellow. And for our Domes we are fighting as hard as we can to appeal to the Edinburgh City Council's decision and we have resubmitted the application process. We hope to see our Secret Domes back, this sadly just will not be before the Festive Period. You can show your support by signing the link in our bio
From all of Team Cask, please accept our most sincere apologies, but please also accept that this is something we cannot control. Our team are working incredibly hard in the face of this devastating news.
Are children allowed within Cask Smugglers?Under 18's are welcome, but due to our license must vacate the premises by 8pm.
Why are the toilets so far away?Cask is a converted tourist information centre and unfortunately this is where the toilets were situated when we converted the venue.
