Hidden out of sight on Edinburgh's busiest street, the ultimate destination whatever the occasion.  Bookings are recommended, but walk-ins are always welcome at Cask.

Cask has you covered come rain or shine

Situated above Waverley mall in the heart of the city, we offer a large space inside with one of the best skyline views of Edinburgh Old-Town. Outside you are sure to get uninterrupted sun throughout the day with fully retractable roofs, just in case we experience the classic Scottish weather. We are also proud to partner with Aperol allowing you to indulge in some tasty terrace tipples.

 

Our kitchen brings you locally sourced specials, such as Charcuterie Boards, sharing Flat Breads and Small Dishes every day of the week! Our motto... Share, Socialise, Savour!

  • Are children allowed within Cask Smugglers?
    Under 18's are welcome, but due to our license must vacate the premises by 8pm.
  • Why are the toilets so far away?
    Cask is a converted tourist information centre and unfortunately this is where the toilets were situated when we converted the venue.
